The Beat Junkies – Materialize – Second Movement Recordings

Launched in 1994 DJ Asend’s Second Movement label worked closely alongside Back 2 Basics Recordings to put Birmingham on the map for fast paced Jungle music.

Having secured a place in Jungle’s history as one half of Dead Dread on Moving Shadow with the huge Jungle anthem “Dread Bass” Asend set off on his own adventure by setting up Second Movement Recordings to showcase not only his own productions but also releases from some of the scenes biggest producers including Tech Itch, The JB, Northern Connexion and many more.
