VINYL SHIPPING POLICY
We will always endeavour to get your items picked , packed and posted as quickly as possible but please be aware of the following when placing an order with us for physical items such as merchandise and vinyl –
Vinyl and merchandise shipping is handled by a third party and we do not hold stock on site.
When your order is placed, our distributor is notified and your order will be updated AUTOMATICALLY to “processed” – This is NOT notification that your item has been sent only that it has been processed by us and sent over to our distributors for picking, packing and shipping.
WE DO NOT SHIP EVERY DAY – there is at least one shipping day per week – on weeks when we have new releases or large amounts of orders there may be more than one pick up from the distributors. On average items are posted to customers WITHIN 5 working days at the most although if your order is placed just after that weeks pick up then your item may not be shipped until the following week. We have no choice on what day this is and it is down to how many items the distributors have to be collected.
Please do not message us two days after placing an order demanding a tracking number as your item might not have been shipped yet.
DELAYS – Royal Mail are experiencing huge delays at the minute and you may well find yourself waiting up to a week for delivery for UK first class – THIS IS OUT OF OUR HANDS. If your item has been shipped they will not even entertain the idea of doing anything about it until 10 days after the expected delivery date. We can not start processing claims or anything else for that matter until that period has passed. We have no control over this and kindly ask customers to respect that fact when contacting us and realise that slow delivery once your package is with Royal mail is not our fault.
OVERSEAS – Glorious Brexit now means that any overseas packages can take up to 21 days to be recieved – Again, nothing we can do about this so please bear that in mind when getting in contact.
TRACKING – All items are sent signed for. We can provide this information (tracking number) on request but politely ask that you wait until at least 2 weeks from ordering before requesting to allow time for it to arrive.
DOWNTIME – On some occasions we may be forced to stop shipping, for example during the heatwave of summer 2022, to avoid items being damaged in transit. Again this is out of our hands but we will notify people via our social media page and also on the contact page of our website clearly stating the shut down period.
COST – Unfortunately due to some missing orders and some fraudulent claims we have been forced to move to using tracked and signed for services for all physical items that are sent out for both UK and overseas. This has meant that we have also had to put up our prices for shipping overseas. Please note that what we have to pay is what we charge and there is nothing else added on top of this, We try to keep prices to a minimum for our customers but have been forced to move to tracked and signed for services. Paypal have also updated their claims policy and will not accept proof of postage any more and we have to provide tracking information for orders to them so there is no way around this.
